What are you in the mood for this weekend? I feel a need for something... mysterious. You'd think I'd have my fill after finishing this the other night and watching a couple episodes of this over the week (both are great in case you're looking for some tension to relax with), but no, it's just made me want more. Some of the gentlemen pictured above might be a good place start, but there's always a chance I'll uncover somebody new and charming/idiosyncratic/British... so suggestions welcome, essentially.

Puppy Time

So, my best friend is getting a labradoodle in a few months... which essentially means I get to kick my puppy fever into an even more extreme overdrive. All in the name of friendship, of course. I've been obsessively searching the internet for labradoodle puppy pictures, foster labradoodles, and labradoodle adoption just for her. What can I say? We are really, really good friends.

Fox Tree by Sandra Dieckmann.

Little Fox is remembering his mother, wrapped in her scarf. The soil feeds the tree that has been there for so long. It has been watching generations of foxes come by and has all the memories engraved in his bark like a totem pole. The circle of life continues.
