Starlight

I'm obsessed with these fabrics by Shadowplaynyc, screened with images from the Hubble telescope. The medley of colors, the diversity of the stars and planets, the sheer magnitude of what is depicted simply fills me with awe. Beautiful, beautiful things.

Weird and wonderful rings at Mödernaked. Can you imagine looking down at your hand and seeing a little face look up at you?

Exuberance

Now that it's officially spring (and it feels like it!), I'm in the mood for sunshine, bright colors and some like-minded aesthetics. Don't these works by Yangyang Pan almost glow with warmth? The thick daubs of paint and seemingly scattered application have such vibrancy to them.

Something I Delight In

"Druzy" is one my favorite words. Druzy. Druuuzy. Isn't that long "oooo" sound combined with the z-y ending phonetically irresistible? I like the way it sounds, I love the way it looks written down, and now, thanks to OhKuol, I am a super fan of how it looks on.
