Boat Rides

Hello all! I thought I would share a few photographs my mom has taken of our various boat rides around the Chesapeake Bay.

A weathered prow against an equally weathered dock. There is something incredibly romantic about this shot.

The lighthouse at Thomas Point. I've never seen one shaped like this before. Can you believe someone actually lives there? It's quite far out in the bay which might be a bit isolating, but apparently people love to bring their boats up all around it to fish and hang out.

An abandoned house with a view of the water. It wasn't until I was able to zoom in that I noticed the disrepair on the roof and windows. From the water it just looks like a lonely colonial house.

I love seeing these seagulls all face the same way. It looks like they are all watching a show. Or something potentially edible.

The sails on this ship look so beautiful! My parents were telling me that this is one of the tour boats that takes people around the Bay. The people on this boat definitely had a great day for sailing. Have you ever been on a sailing tour boat? I hear they do them in New York as well...
